Tedee: your smart lock

Tedee is the most discreet smart lock I install: small, elegant and very secure.

What to consider when choosing Tedee smart lock

Tedee smart lock adds convenience and access control but still operates a mechanical door and lock. Compatibility and a fallback opening method matter as much as the app.

For Tedee smart lock we inspect lock movement, inside space, cylinder type, desired connectivity and who will administer permissions. The best option is one the household understands and can recover if a phone fails.

A common situation before deciding

A household wants Tedee smart lock so a carer can enter during set hours. First they define who creates and revokes access, what happens without power and whether everyone has a simple alternative.

The mistake worth avoiding

Buying Tedee smart lock before checking the lock can cause poor fit or excessive battery use. Automating a stiff or vulnerable mechanical base does not correct the original problem.
